Responsibilities

• Load the vehicle with products for service locations
• Drive to client locations and deliver/load/unload products
• Stock shelves or vending machines and ensure refrigeration
• Oversee inventory and collect unsold merchandise
• Handle cash from machines and communicate with customers
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines
• Promote products and maintain a positive customer relationship

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to immediately hire to fill the role of Full-time Service Route Driver. This position works day-shift Monday through Friday, no weekends, nights or holidays at our branch in the Woolrich, PA area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
