Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Service Route Driver to service client locations with loaded inventory and well maintained cold products. You will drive, deliver, load, unload, and stock machines while ensuring refrigeration is kept and accounts are attended.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a DOT physical. You will interact with customers professionally and promote products, supporting a family culture and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license (CDL not required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations.
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations.
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts.
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.
