nLIGHT, located in Camas, WA, seeks a Service Technician to repair, test and calibrate laser systems and components. The role includes moving equipment, lifting up to 50 lbs, and up to 80% travel for onsite customer support in diverse environments.
You will work with Technical Support, Customer Service, Manufacturing and Design Engineers to diagnose issues, document activities and drive process improvements while prioritizing safety.

Primary responsibilities include the repair, testing and calibration of laser systems and components as well as organization and tracking of tools and materials.
This position is located in our Camas facility. Travel may be required to supply customers with onsite support up to 80%.
The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and work effectively with Technical Support, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Design Engineers to solve problems quickly and completely.
The position will require moving equipment, lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs., and working on equipment incorporating high-power lasers (high-power electronics and high-power optical devices).
