Graybar is seeking an Service Representative Off-Site in Wisconsin to serve as a key customer liaison. The role includes order entry, pricing, billing, and inventory maintenance, with occasional delivery duties and warehouse tasks. You will train new representatives and support customers with enthusiasm and tact.

The position requires forklift/pallet jack experience and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm, with comprehensive benefits and employee

• Minimum 3 years experience required; 4+ years preferred.
• 4 year degree preferred.
• Ability to perform physical requirements including lifting up to 70 pounds.
• Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts is a plus.

Make a difference.As a Service Representative Off-Site, you serve as key contact and liaison for customers to ensure total customer satisfaction. Occasional Delivery Driver responsibilities will be required for this role.In this role you will:Take an active role in selling Company goods and services; fill customer merchandise requirements, including the counter, using knowledge of products sold; suggest selections that meet customer needs; act as a resource for new or less experienced representatives.Coordinate the prompt handling of customer service requests including but not limited to order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, and order maintenancePerform all shipping, receiving, and inventory maintenance duties; evaluate inventory requirements/levels, and take steps to maintain correct balance of merchandiseMay perform Delivery Driver duties as needed; operate a light van or delivery vehicle to deliver customer orders; ensure that customer orders are delivered to meet customer expectationsUpdate knowledge of products through self-study and attending product training classesTrain new or less experienced representativesWhat you bring to the table:Minimum 3 year experience required; 4+ years experience preferred4 year degree preferredAbility to perform the physical requirements necessary to receive, pick, pack, ship, and move materials throughout the warehouse, including, but not limited to, standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, cutting wire, and lifting materials weighing up to 70 poundsAbility to operate and maneuver warehouse equipment, including, but not limited to, pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts, in the manner necessary to move materials and consistent with manufacturers’ instructions and safety instructionsAbility to work in a warehouse environment, including the ability to perform physical requirements, adapt to seasonal changes, significant temperature variations, and inclement weather conditionsAbility to abide by safety instruction and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) or its equivalent is requiredAbility to meet driving requirements if assigned to operate a Company-required vehicle and/or whenever circumstances require that material handlers at the applicable location have the ability to operate a Company vehicle to cover emergencies, absences, or other business needsKnowledge of warehouse procedures and security regulationsKnowledge of product lines and suppliers and the ability to evaluate products in terms of customer needsCustomer service skills with the ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tactCommunication, administrative, and computer skillsAbility to work under general supervision and work cooperatively with other branch personnelAbility to successfully complete all Company training designed to comply with regulatory requirementsWork Shift and Hours:Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 3:00pm.Compensation Details:The expected pay rate for this position is $23.00 per hour.Additional Information:Steel toed boots required.The Value of Graybar:At Graybar, we are known for our comprehensive benefits and our employee stock ownership plan!
