Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely operate a Graybar truck, deliver to customers, and provide top-notch customer service in the East Peoria area. This role typically runs Monday–Friday during the day and is home each night.

You will plan routes, load and unload, and use forklifts/pallet jacks while maintaining vehicle and log accuracy, with no overnights or weekend work. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented with professional communication.
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Must have a valid driver’s license issued by the resident state.
• Must be able to pass DOT medical exam and CMV certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan efficient routes to meet delivery windows.
• Deliver products to Graybar customers with exceptional service.
• Load and unload trucks and operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Inspect the vehicle and maintain truck logs accurately.
• Work a local route with no overnights or weekends away.

More than a job - a career.As a Delivery Driver, you will have face-to-face contact with customers as you deliver orders. You will safely drive a Graybar truck or van from the warehouse to each destination, providing on-time delivery and good customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining positive customer relations and passing along customer feedback, and even promoting services and products! One advantage of this role is that it is typically Monday-Friday during the day and you will be home each night.
