Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Service Representative/Courier to join our team in Roseville, MN. You will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports, while providing excellent service to our clients.

Work Schedule: M-F, 8AM-5PM. Location: 354 County Road D West New Brighton MN 55112. Requirements include HS diploma preferred; prior courier experience helpful; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; strong time management and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Be punctual with strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Load all necessary supplies for daily pickups.
• Complete daily pickup schedule in a timely manner.
• Deliver daily picks to the branch at end of shift.
• Handle specimens and lab samples safely.
• Operate company vehicle and follow traffic laws.
• Use handheld device to manage pickup schedule.
• Coordinate with dispatcher for additional pickups.
• Assess traffic, routes and weather conditions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Load all necessary suppliers needed for the daily pickups
• Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner
• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient manner
• Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily pick up schedule
• Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pick ups as needed
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous driver/courier experience is preferred

Additional Job Standards:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Customer service experience is a plus
• Very punctual with strong time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to problem solve customer issues
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
• Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
• Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
