Job summary

Labcorp in Burlington, NC is hiring a Service Representative/Courier to support daily pickups and deliveries during overnight hours. You will load supplies, manage schedules, and ensure safe handling of specimens while following all traffic laws.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of courier or route-based delivery experience in a medical or laboratory setting. Valid driver's license and reliable, punctual service are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Load all necessary supplies for daily pickups.
• Complete daily pickup schedule in a timely manner.
• Deliver all daily picks to the branch at the end of the shift.
• Handle all specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently.
• Safely operate a company vehicle and obey traffic laws.
• Use handheld device to manage daily pickups.
• Coordinate with dispatcher for additional pickups as needed.
• Evaluate traffic patterns and weather to optimize routes.

LabCorp is seeking a Service Representative/Courier to join our team in Burlington, NC. Work Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 9:00pm to 5:30am, Saturday 5:30pm to 2:00am.

Job Responsibilities

• Load all necessary suppliers needed for the daily pickups
• Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner
• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient manner
• Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up
• Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6 months or more of professional courier or route-based delivery experience, within a medical or laboratory company

Additional Job Standards

• Very punctual with strong time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to problem solve customer issues
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• At least 21 years' old
