Overview

Hayward Holdings Inc. (NYSE "HAYW") is the largest manufacturer of residential swimming pool equipment in the world, with a significant presence in the commercial pool market that is continuously growing. Hayward designs, manufactures, and markets a full line of residential and commercial pool and spa equipment including pumps, filters, heating, cleaners, salt chlorinators, automation, lighting, safety, flow control and energy solutions at our company owned facilities. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China. This position is based in Atlanta, GA.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, diagnosing, repairing, and testing CAT Controllers returned for both warranty and non-warranty service. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on repair skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

· Receive and log CAT Controllers returned for service, ensuring proper documentation and inventory control.

· Diagnose electronic and hardware issues in CAT Controllers using diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical documentation.

· Perform repairs on electronic assemblies, components, and printed circuit boards (PCBs).

· Test repaired units to ensure full functionality and compliance with specifications and quality standards.

· Document findings, repairs, and test results in maintenance records. Work with Customer Service to prepare invoices for non-warranty repairs.

· Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams for complex troubleshooting and continuous product improvement.

· Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring compliance with safety and ESD (electrostatic discharge) protocols.

· Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to enhance repair quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

· Technical training in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

· Proven experience in electronics diagnostics, repair, and testing—ideally with industrial controllers or similar equipment.

· Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, datasheets, and service manuals.

· Proficient with electronic testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators.

· Strong soldering and surface mount component handling skills.

· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

· Strong communication and documentation skills.

· Familiarity with CAT Controllers or similar control systems is a plus.
