Philips Plymouth, MN seeks a Service Project Manager – Advanced Imaging to drive installation projects, validate sites, and coordinate field engineers. You will own installation plans, ensure sequencing of cabling, calibration, and customer sign-off, and migrate processes to ServiceMax.

Travel is limited to 10% with onsite collaboration. You’ll work cross-functionally with Bedford site teams, SPS Parts, and customers to prevent delays and improve efficiency in a fast-paced healthcare tech

Job description

Service Project Manager – Advanced Imaging (Plymouth, MN)

Support production operations by driving process improvements, equipment validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and manufacturing performance.

Your role: Lead HyperVue console installations from start to finish, including site-readiness validation, scheduling, field service engineer coordination, milestone tracking, and project completion. Own the installation plan to ensure equipment delivery, cabling, calibration, clinical validation, and customer sign-off are executed in sequence. Transition the SpectraWave installation process from current project-tracking tools into ServiceMax as the standard Philips service management platform. Ensure work orders, site data, asset records, and project documentation are complete and accurate throughout the migration. Establish installation project management within ServiceMax while maintaining data quality and process consistency. The role focuses on implementation and adoption rather than long-term system administration. Serve as the central coordination point between field service engineers, the Bedford manufacturing site, commercial teams, SPS Parts, and customer facilities. Proactively resolve site-readiness, equipment, and scheduling issues to prevent customer-facing delays and reduce cross-functional handoffs. Support field service capacity planning by monitoring installation forecasts, identifying resource constraints, and ensuring engineers are assigned and prepared before dispatch. Help align installation demand with available service resources.

You’re the right fit if: You have 3+ years of experience in field service project management, installation coordination, or technical project management within a medical device, healthcare technology, or other regulated environment. Experience coordinating multi-site equipment installations with hospital or clinical facilities is strongly preferred. Your skills include installation scheduling, site-readiness coordination, documentation within field service management platforms (such as ServiceMax or similar), cross-functional coordination across manufacturing, logistics, field engineering, and customer-facing teams, and structured project tracking in a fast-paced environment. Bonus: experience supporting hospital and clinical equipment installations. You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Health Sciences, or a related field. PMP or a comparable project management certification is highly desired. You are a hands-on coordinator who can manage multiple concurrent installation projects, communicate effectively with hospital facility managers and clinical staff, proactively resolve scheduling and site-readiness conflicts.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This is an onsite role.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in MN is $95,000 to $150,000. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
