Mr. Handyman of South Salt Lake, Utah, and Wasatch Counties seeks a Service Professional who can walk into customers' homes, understand needs, build trust, and close sales while delivering high‑quality repair and remodeling work.

You’ll arrive prepared, listen to problems, provide accurate estimates, and discuss value, timeline, and benefits with customers. Proficiency with ServiceTitan is required to manage scheduling and invoicing.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on experience in trades (carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, light electrical)
• Friendly, confident personality with comfort discussing price and value
• Reliability and initiative; ability to work with minimal guidance
• Strong communication: listen, ask good questions, explain work clearly
• Comfort with technology and using ServiceTitan for scheduling, estimates, invoicing, and communication

Responsibilities

• Complete a variety of residential and commercial projects, from small repairs to larger remodels

The Role:

Who We’re Looking For

You’re a great fit if you have:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in trades like carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, light electrical, or related fields

• Ability to work Mondays through Fridays, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends as needed
• Your own basic hand tools and equipment

Compensation & Benefits

This is a commission-based opportunity. We bring the leads, the scheduling, the training, and the full support system behind you. You bring the skill, the confidence, and the drive to close the job and deliver outstanding work. There is no ceiling on what a Service Professional can earn with us. We reward execution and strong customer rapport, not just hours on the clock.

Posted range: $28.00–$36.00 per hour (required for job board compliance), representing typical earnings based on experience and verified work history. Actual earnings are performance-based, with commission and bonuses tied to customer satisfaction, revenue, and profitability layered on top.

Training & Your First 90 Days

You’ll start with paid training and onboarding designed to set you up for success. This includes:

• Shadowing experienced Service Professionals to see how we operate
• Learning our systems, quality standards, and customer service expectationsMastering ServiceTitan for scheduling, estimating, invoicing, and our sales process
• Pay is hourly during training. Once onboarded, you’ll transition to our performance-based compensation model
