Job summary

Mountain States Toyota is seeking a Service Porter to maintain the dealership’s appearance, assist with vehicle movement, and deliver exceptional customer service. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates pursuing a career in the automotive industry.

As part of a team, you will move and park vehicles, drive cars to service lanes, and keep lots clean while providing friendly help to guests and staff. Full-time hours and competitive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Physically able to move and drive vehicles.

• Basic automotive knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move and park vehicles around the dealership premises.
• Drive vehicles to and from service lanes, stalls, and parking areas.
• Keep the dealership lot, driveways, and sidewalks clean and presentable.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and directing them to staff.
• Support sales and service departments with tasks such as replenishing fluids and minor vehicle assistance.
• Follow all safety policies and report accidents to a manager.

Job Description

The Service Porter will be responsible in maintaining the dealership’s appearance, assisting with vehicle movement, and delivering exceptional customer service.

This entry-level position is ideal for candidates interested in pursuing a career in the automotive industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Move and park vehicles in the dealership premises and to maintain flow of traffic
• Drives vehicles to and from service lanes, stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Keep the dealership lot, driveways, and sidewalks clean and presentable
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and directing them to the appropriate personnel
• Support sales and service departments with various tasks as required (i.e., Replenish vehicle fluids and minor vehicle assistance tasks)
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.

Qualifications

• Physically able to drive and move vehicles
• Ability to work in the elements (outdoors) for extended periods of time
• Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealership’s professional appearance
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in a similar role or automotive industry is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of vehicles is a plus.

Required:

• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR.

Additional Information

Compensation:

• $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Full Time
• Monday through Saturday availability
• Sundays off
