Job summary

Concord Honda is hiring a Sales Porter to support the used-vehicle department by keeping inventory neat and ready for customers. You will assist the sales team with vehicle logistics, prep, and on-site operations in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented and able to work outdoors with varying weather. This full-time role requires Sunday availability and a strong team mindset with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive or lot porter roles is helpful but not required.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and a team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions in a fast-paced dealership.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending and reaching during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Move, park and organize vehicles on the lot and showroom for an attractive display.
• Clean and prepare vehicles for sale, including washing and basic detailing.
• Ensure vehicles are fueled, charged (if needed) and ready for test drives.
• Assist sales staff in retrieving and staging vehicles for customers.
• Maintain cleanliness of the lot, showroom and surrounding areas.
• Transport vehicles between dealership locations, auctions or service departments as needed.
• Install or remove dealer tags, license plates and window stickers.
• Support events, promotions and sales activities as required.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.

Job Description

TheSales Porterplays a key support role in the day-to-day operations of the dealership's used vehicle department. This position is responsible for maintaining the appearance, organization, and readiness of the vehicle inventory, while assisting the sales team with vehicle logistics and customer support tasks. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Move, park, and organize vehicles on the lot and showroom to ensure an attractive and orderly display
• Clean and prepare vehicles for sale, including washing, vacuuming, and light detailing
• Ensure all vehicles are fueled, charged (if applicable), and ready for test drives
• Assist sales staff in retrieving and staging vehicles for customers
• Maintain cleanliness of the lot, showroom, and surrounding areas
• Transport vehicles between dealership locations, auctions, or service departments as needed
• Install or remove dealer tags, license plates, and window stickers
• Support special events, promotions, and sales activities as required
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Required:

• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver's license.

Additional Information

(The Porter Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $18.00.)

Schedule:

• FULL TIME
• Monday thru Sunday availability
• Hours of operation - M-Sat7am to 6pm, Sun 8am to 4pm
