Job summary

Buick GMC Cadillac of Thousand Oaks in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking a Service Porter to move guest vehicles safely throughout the service drive, bays, lot, and delivery areas. This entry-level role offers a clear path in a high-volume Conejo Valley dealership.

You will stage vehicles for service write-ups and pickup, perform basic washes, keep lanes organized, assist service advisors and technicians, and communicate any vehicle concerns to the team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable and punctual; the service team's workflow depends on porter coverage.
• Careful with vehicles; guests entrust their cars to the porter.
• Self-directed; you notice what needs moving or staging and handle it without prompting.
• Prior porter/valet/lot attendant or driving experience is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Move guest vehicles safely between the service drive, service bays, lot, and delivery areas.
• Stage vehicles for service write-up and guest pickup -- ensure each vehicle is positioned, locked, and ready.
• Perform basic vehicle washes and light cleaning for presenting clean vehicles.
• Keep service lanes, the lot, and staging areas organized and clear.
• Assist service advisors and technicians with vehicle movement and logistics.
• Communicate any vehicle condition concerns to the appropriate team member.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Move guest vehicles safely between the service drive, service bays, lot, and delivery areas throughout the shift
• Stage vehicles for service write-up and guest pickup -- ensuring every vehicle is positioned correctly, locked, and ready when the advisor or guest needs it
• Perform basic vehicle washes and light cleaning so that service guests receive their vehicles clean and presentable after every visit
• Keep service lanes, the lot, and vehicle staging areas organized and clear throughout the day
• Assist service advisors and technicians with vehicle movement and logistical support as needed
• Communicate any vehicle condition concerns -- new damage, warning lights, or other observations -- immediately to the appropriate team member
