Job summary

Kendall Ford of Meridian, part of Kendall Auto Group, is seeking an entry-level Porter to support the service drive. You will help move and park vehicles, assist customers, and keep the area clean while receiving training and room for growth in a family-owned automotive group.

Starting pay is $16.00/hour with benefits including PTO, insurance options, and a 401(k). This role offers a path into both service and sales within a growing organization.

Qualifications

  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required.

Responsibilities

  • Move and park service vehicles as needed.
  • Direct service customers to the appropriate advisor.
  • Obtain basic information from vehicles to assist with check-in.
  • Retrieve parts and supplies as needed.
  • Wash exteriors of vehicles and vacuum interiors.
  • Perform janitorial tasks to keep the service drive clean and presentable.

Our Porters are working in a fast-paced environment, making sure vehicles are arriving and departing to the appropriate store locations. Porters are trusted to drive Kendall vehicles safely and represent the Kendall brand. Job duties include moving and parking service vehicles as needed, communicating and providing world customer service to service clients, directing service customers to the appropriate advisor, obtaining basic information from vehicles to assist with check in process, retrieving parts and supplies, operating snow removal equipment, washing exterior of vehicles, vacuuming interiors of vehicles and janitorial tasks to keep service drive clean and presentable.

Requirements

A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required.

Work is performed equally inside and outside, majority of job duties will be completed via standing or walking, though bending and twisting will occur to enter and exit vehicles frequently. Lifting 20 pounds occasionally, and rarely up to 50 pounds will be required.
