Kendall Auto Group is a major Pacific Northwest dealer and premier employer in Vancouver. We are seeking a Service Porter to join our Ford Team. This entry level position offers training and room for growth, with a full-time, hourly schedule and a starting pay of $18.00 per hour, plus benefits.

Porters work in a fast-paced environment, driving Kendall vehicles safely and representing the Kendall brand. Duties include vehicle movement, check-in support, parts retrieval, and basic vehicle care,

Qualifications

• Entry level role with on‑the‑job training.
• Requires ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Clean driving record and valid driver license required.

Responsibilities

• Move and park service vehicles as needed.
• Provide superior customer service to service clients.
• Direct customers to the appropriate advisor.
• Obtain basic information from vehicles to assist with check‑in.
• Retrieve parts and supplies as needed.
• Wash exteriors of vehicles and vacuum interiors.
• Perform janitorial tasks to keep the service drive clean and presentable.

We are looking for self-motivated, reliable candidates ready to begin a career in the Automotive industry. This is an entry level position providing training and room for growth. This is an hourly position, working a full-time schedule.

Our Porters are working in a fast-paced environment, making sure vehicles are arriving and departing to the appropriate store locations. Porters are trusted to drive Kendall vehicles safely and represent the Kendall brand. Job duties include moving and parking service vehicles as needed, communicating and providing superior customer service to service clients, directing service customers to the appropriate advisor, obtaining basic information from vehicles to assist with check in process, retrieving parts and supplies, operating snow removal equipment, washing exterior of vehicles, vacuuming interiors of vehicles and janitorial tasks to keep service drive clean and presentable.

Work is performed equally inside and outside, majority of job duties will be completed via standing or walking, though bending and twisting will occur to enter and exit vehicles frequently. Lifting 20 pounds occasionally, and rarely up to 50 pounds will be required.

Requirements

Candidates must have the capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models, must have ability to drive automatic and manual transmission. A good, clean driving record and valid driver license is required.
