Job summary

Kendall Auto Group in Marysville, WA is hiring a Service Porter to support our Subaru service team. This entry-level role offers hands-on exposure to the automotive service environment and invites you to build a career with a respected Pacific Northwest dealer group.

You will move and park vehicles, assist advisors, gather basic vehicle information, retrieve parts, and help keep the service drive clean. The position is full-time, indoors and outdoors, with a strong emphasis on customer service

Responsibilities

• Move and park service vehicles as needed.
• Communicate with service clients to provide superior customer service.
• Direct service customers to the appropriate advisor.
• Obtain basic information from vehicles to assist with check-in.

• Operate snow removal equipment and wash exterior of vehicles.
• Vacuum interiors and perform janitorial tasks to keep the service drive clean.

This is an entry level position giving you the opportunity to learn the automotive industry. We are looking for candidates who are available for full-time hours, have proven customer service experience, and are enthusiastic about their work.

Job duties include moving and parking service vehicles as needed, communicating and providing superior customer service to service clients, directing service customers to the appropriate advisor, obtaining basic information from vehicles to assist with check in process, retrieving parts and supplies, operating snow removal equipment, washing exterior of vehicles, vacuuming interiors of vehicles and janitorial tasks to keep service drive clean and presentable.

This position works both indoors and outdoors, in a shop environment greeting customers in the service drive, standing and walking is required for up to 75% of work shift, and bending, twisting, and kneeling required primarily for getting in and out of vehicles.

Requirements

Candidates must have the capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models, must have ability to drive automatic and manual transmission. A good, clean driving record and valid driver license is required.
