Job summary

L0272 Acura of Honolulu is seeking a Service Porter to support service operations and deliver a positive customer experience. You will greet customers, help move vehicles, and assist with parking, while maintaining a clean lot and accurate records.

To succeed, you should have automotive knowledge, at least 1 year of experience, basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s license. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is preferred in a fast-paced dealership setting.

Qualifications

• Automotive knowledge relevant to service operations.
• Minimum 1 year of related work experience.
• Basic computer skills for clerical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome service customers in a genuinely friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist all customers promptly and professionally.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel cover, and floor mats.
• Identify the service advisor and notify them of the customer’s appointment.
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places.
• Retrieve customer vehicles when paid or directed by the advisor.
• Maintain the parking lot and a tidy work area.
• Assist the Service Receptionist with calls as needed.
• Assist Shuttle driver when required.
• Perform various clerical tasks as assigned.

Dealership: L0272 Acura of Honolulu Acura of Honolulu Hiring: Service Porter Pay: $17-$22 Hourly DOE Schedule: We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome service customers in a genuinely friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist all customers promptly and professionally.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel cover, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
• Identify the service advisor with whom the customer has an appointment and notify that advisor.
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when their bill is paid or as directed by the advisor.
• Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist the Service Receptionist with incoming telephone calls when necessary, answering in a professional and prompt manner.
• Assist Shuttle driver when needed.
• Perform various clerical tasks as assigned by service management.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees or customers.
• Maintain a valid local area driver's license and immediately inform management of any changes in its status.
• Other duties as assigned.

Total Rewards

The hourly pay range for this position is $17-$22 Hourly DOE. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
