Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Service Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a smooth operation within our dealership. The Service Porter will be responsible for managing vehicle movement, assisting customers, and supporting the service department in delivering outstanding hospitality.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs upon arrival.
• Manage the parking of vehicles, ensuring proper placement within the dealership lot.
• Drive vehicles safely, including manual transmission when necessary, for service appointments and customer deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area and parking lot.
• Assist with cash handling duties, including cashiering and processing payments as needed.
• Provide support to service technicians by delivering parts or vehicles as required.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a seamless experience.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide information about services offered at the dealership.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality and professionalism in all interactions.
• Follow the proper Pick Up and Delivery process according to Ford's standards
• Flexibility for providing guest shuttles
• Working as a team with the other porter and remaining service department personnel
• Refueling vehicles as needed
• Maintaining a valid driver's license and following all traffic laws and signage
• Misc. duties per management discretion

Experience

• Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
• Familiarity with dealership operations or retail environments is advantageous.
• Experience as a delivery driver is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on communication and interpersonal abilities.
