Job summary

Ed Morse Automotive Group in Dallas seeks a Service Porter to maintain vehicle lots and support the service team. You will clean interiors and exteriors, tag vehicles, and ensure bays and lots meet dealership standards.

Candidates should have a valid driver's license, be able to drive both automatic and manual transmissions, and communicate well in English (Spanish bilingual is a plus). We offer weekly pay, benefits, and growth opportunities across brands.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with a good record.
• Must be able to lift 50 Lbs.
• Must complete a pre-employment background screening that includes a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintains vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interiors and exteriors and replenishing fluids.
• Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keeps lots neat and orderly and moves cars as directed by the GM and display standards.
• Sweeps, shovels, vacuums debris, and removes waste.
• Inspects parts, equipment, and vehicles for cleanliness and compliance.
• Drives vehicles to service lanes, stalls, and parking areas as needed.
• Creates key tags for vehicles.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Ed Morse is currently seeking Service Porter to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Maintains new and used vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary.
• Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keeps new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Sweeps, shovels or vacuums loose debris or salvageable scrap into containers and removes containers from work areas.
• Inspects parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards or regulations.
• Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Makes key tags for vehicles.
• Other tasks as assigned.
