Job summary

Tech9 is seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our Chico office, serving customers in the surrounding area. You will troubleshoot, repair, and install residential plumbing systems, while maintaining a clean, stocked company van and providing top-notch service with clear homeowner guidance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in residential plumbing, strong diagnostic and communication skills, a valid CA driver's license, and are comfortable working in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential plumbing service experience.
• Strong problem-solving and plumbing diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license to operate in California.
• Ability to stand, bend, crawl, and lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, replace and/or repair residential plumbing systems in customers’ homes.
• Keep company van stocked and clean.
• Advise homeowners on repair or replacement options.
• Coordinate with supervisor and other trades for efficient project completion.
• Diagnose problems and determine equipment needs; identify leaks and clogs.

This position is based out of our Chico office and serves customers throughout the surrounding local area. The Plumber will troubleshoot, replace and/or repair all residential plumbing systems in our customers’ homes. You will be joining a team that works hard, has fun, and supports each other while bringing the value of our service to our customers.
