Job summary

Tech9 is seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician based in Chico, CA, to service residential customers across the local area. You’ll troubleshoot, replace and repair plumbing systems while delivering friendly, reliable service without weekends or on-call shifts.

You’ll work with a small team, keep the van stocked, consult homeowners on repair or replacement options, and coordinate with dispatch and supervisors to complete jobs safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential plumbing service experience.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license to legally operate a motor vehicle in California.
• Willing to work in adverse conditions including heat, cold, wind, and rain.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, replace and/or repair residential plumbing systems.
• Keep your company van stocked, and clean both inside and out.
• Consult with homeowner to give them the best options on repair or replacement.
• Coordinate with supervisor and other trades for the purpose of completing projects efficiently.
• Maintain communication with dispatch.
• Diagnoses problems and/or failures in plumbing systems to identify repair needs.
• Proficient in water heater installation (tanked and tankless).
• Proficient in use of specialty tools, drain cleaning equipment/hydro jetter.
• Maintains tools, company iPad.
