Job summary

Tech9 is looking for a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our Chico team. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing residential plumbing systems for customers in the local area, with no weekends or on-call.

You will work from the Chico office and coordinate with dispatch and supervisors to complete jobs efficiently. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of residential plumbing service experience, solid diagnostic skills, and excellent customer service.

• 3+ years of residential plumbing service experience.
• Strong problem-solving and plumbing diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Passion for communicating with customers and fixing plumbing issues.
• Keep your company van stocked and clean
• Communicate and consult with homeowner to give them the best options on repair or replacement
• Coordinates with supervisor and other trades for the purpose of completing projects efficiently
• Maintain communication with dispatch
• Diagnoses problems and/or failures in plumbing systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair and replacement needs
• Proficient in water heater installation, both tanked and tankless units
• Proficient in use of specialty tools, drain cleaning equipment/hydro jetter
• Maintains tools, company iPad

This position is based out of our Chico office and serves customers throughout the surrounding local area. The Plumber will troubleshoot, replace and/or repair all residential plumbing systems in our customers’ homes.
