Job summary

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Virginia Beach is seeking a Plumbing Field Technical Training Manager to lead technical training, supervise skilled technicians, and drive revenue growth through the use of our customer-focused sales and communication process.

Qualified candidates will have Virginia plumbing licensure, at least 8 years of residential experience, and strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Valid Virginia plumbing license or certification.
• Minimum of 8 years of residential plumbing experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with plumbing tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, and pipe installations.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on plumbing systems.
• Install fixtures, water heaters, and other plumbing equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and local plumbing codes.
• Document services performed and maintain accurate records.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Coach/mentor/train plumbing apprentices and service professionals.

The Plumbing Field Technical Training Manager is responsible for performing plumbing services while building and leading technical training and skill development for our plumbing technicians — our primary focus for this role — while also driving technician performance and company revenue growth through consistent use of our CUSTOMER sales and communication process.
