Dial Duron Service Co. is seeking a Service Plumber to perform service work on residential plumbing systems, including troubleshooting, installation, and repairs.

Strong communication with homeowners and adherence to local codes are essential as you diagnose issues and execute high-quality solutions. The role demands physical fitness, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work with a team, potentially leading apprentices on larger projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and 3 years of driving experience.
• Familiarity with local and state plumbing codes and regulations.
• Experience with various tools and equipment, such as pipe cutters, threaders, and soldering tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex plumbing issues.
• Excellent communication with homeowners and customers.
• Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks and lift heavy materials.
• Safety-oriented with knowledge of safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing problems and failures in plumbing systems and equipment
• Determining whether repairs or replacements are needed for customers
• Installing and assembling plumbing systems and equipment, including valves, pipe fittings, and pipes
• Performing installation, maintenance, and repairs on water and gas systems, pipes, fittings, and components
• Testing for leaks using compressed air and/or water to ensure functionality and safety
• Repairing and maintaining plumbing systems by replacing washers, mending burst pipes, and clearing clogged drains
• Managing the inventory of plumbing supplies in the vehicle, including checking stock, placing orders, and verifying receipts
• Keeping equipment and tools operational by following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures
• Maintaining safety equipment
• Additional duties as assigned.
