Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair experience.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and job specs.
• Experience with water, gas, and sewage systems and local codes.
• Familiarity with plumbing tools like pipe cutters and soldering tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lead apprentices and coordinate with teams.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems in plumbing systems and determine repairs or replacements.
• Install and assemble plumbing systems, including pipes and valves.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on water, gas, and sewage systems.
• Test for leaks and ensure safety and code compliance.
• Manage inventory of plumbing supplies and keep tools in good condition.
• Assist and potentially lead apprentices on job sites.
