Southern Home Services in Florida is seeking a Service Plumber to handle a range of residential plumbing tasks, including troubleshooting, installation, and repair of plumbing systems in homes. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure all work meets local codes and safety standards.

Strong problem-solving and clear communication with homeowners are essential, as is reading blueprints and coordinating with team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years hands-on plumbing installation, maintenance and repair.
• Valid driver's license with clean record and 3 years driving.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and job specs.
• Experience with water, gas, and sewage systems.
• Knowledge of local/state plumbing codes.
• Strong communication with customers.
• Physically capable of demanding tasks and safety oriented.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose plumbing problems and determine repair or replacement needs.
• Install, assemble, and repair plumbing systems and components.
• Test for leaks and ensure compliance with codes.
• Maintain and manage inventory of supplies in vehicle.
• Communicate with homeowners effectively.
• Lead apprentices and coordinate with other trades.
• Handle weekend and emergency calls as needed.
