Job summary

Complete Building Services in Washington, DC seeks a Journeyman Plumber for commercial service plumbing and gasfitting, backflow testing, and related tasks in office buildings. The role requires a valid license, state certification, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds with occasional ladder work.

Hours are generally Monday–Friday 7:00 am–3:30 pm with overtime as needed. Salary ranges from the mid $40s to mid $50s per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, in the DC metro area.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Journeyman plumbing license required
• WSSC certification is a plus
• Backflow certification required
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems as required
• Provide direction and support to sub-contractors designated to perform repair of equipment and/or hardware
• Interface with building managers and other customer representatives to ensure client satisfaction
• Accurately document work performed on trouble tickets or work orders
• Place and/or remove systems, hardware and equipment as required
• Purchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory for timely work completion
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job description

The Plumber should have a Journeyman's license and will perform all aspects of commercial service plumbing and gasfitting, backflow testing and repair. Install, troubleshoot, service and repair plumbing systems in office buildings, and other commercial establishments as assigned. Hours Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (overtime as needed) Salary $45-$55

• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems as required

You Should Have

Education Requirements with one of the following

• High School diploma or equivalent

License Requirement

• State License Journeyman in Plumbing
• Big Plus - WSSC certified
• Backflow Certification is a Requirement
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation

Experience and Physical Expectations

• Minimum of five (5) years of plumbing experience within a service role
• Able to lift to sixty (60) pounds
• Capable of ascending ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feet
