Job summary

United Plumbing is seeking a Service Plumber in Fort Myers, FL to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role covers water distribution, drainage, boost pumps, lift stations, tankless water heaters, and water filtration systems.

You will diagnose issues, read blueprints, ensure safety compliance, and document work using service software. On-call rotation and strong customer communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and applicable codes.
• Experience with lift stations is preferred.
• Ability to operate a hydrojetting machine.
• Ability to operate an excavator.

Position Summary

The Service Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. This role requires strong technical knowledge across water distribution, drainage, specialty pumping systems, and advanced service techniques, including tankless water heaters, water filtration systems, booster and lift station pumps, and hydrojetting.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of plumbing systems and applicable codes
• Knowledge of lift stations
• Ability to operate a hydrojetting machine
• Ability to operate an excavator
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 3–5 years of plumbing experience
• Experience with water filtration and treatment systems
• Experience installing and servicing tankless water heaters
• Experience servicing booster pumps
• Experience operating tractors or other heavy equipment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry plumbing tools, materials, and equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces as needed
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
