Job summary

GEM Plumbing & Heating is seeking a Service Plumber to work in our residential plumbing department. This full-time position requires travel within the CT area and offers opportunities to master your craft while serving our community.

You will install, repair, and replace residential plumbing systems, provide world-class customer service, and complete paperwork promptly. You will maintain a clean work area and collaborate with a professional team, arriving on time and adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Holds a CT licensing level CTP2.
• Must have prior residential experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to work on-call and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace various residential plumbing systems, sometimes in confined or high places.
• Provide world-class customer service to customers daily.
• Complete paperwork in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Work closely with all other workers and supervisors while maintaining a polite, professional attitude.
• Arrive on time to all jobs ready to work.
• Attend company meetings as necessary.
• Adhere to all safety and handbook policies.
