The Service Planner coordinates and schedules service activities to ensure maintenance, repairs, and customer requests are completed efficiently. This role works closely with customers, technicians, operations, and internal teams to manage schedules, track work orders, and provide updates. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proficient in Microsoft Excel, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred. Recent graduates from technical colleges, trade schools, or related programs are encouraged to apply. 2+ years of experience in scheduling, planning, dispatching, customer service, or a related role, or an equivalent combination of education and internship/co-op experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, including spreadsheets, formulas, data organization, and reporting. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Teams). Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Experience with ERP, scheduling, or work order management systems preferred. Manufacturing, field service, or industrial experience is a plus.
