Job summary

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hands-on production planning, scheduling, and material control experience in manufacturing.

• CPIM/CSCP or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed assembly and fulfillment schedules based on demand, inventory, and capacity.

Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Service Planner to support our operations in Methuen. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Supply Chain, Operations, and Service teams to coordinate build schedules, oversee fulfillment, and execute finished goods planning to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently. This key position serves as the primary planning lead for Service material availability and support across our diverse global customer base, managing build and fulfillment operations across both our Methuen, MA, and Lexington, KY manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed assembly and fulfillment schedules and work orders based on service demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
  • Prioritization of service builds & kitting to maintain planned reorder point stocking levels
  • Oversight for Service demand planning and MRP execution
• Material and Inventory Coordination: Monitor kit and raw material availability, manage replenishment levels, and work with procurement to prevent supply chain bottlenecks.
  • Impact order material planning and proposal scenario planning
  • Impact order execution management, including production capacity reviews, cross-site builds & material transfers
  • Coordination of cross-site material transfers and dual site builds
  • Determination of primary service sites for Make and Kitting fulfillment
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as Service lead with operations, engineering, quality control, and customer service teams to align execution with customer support needs.
  • Ownership of Service execution status reporting within Ops
  • Coordination of SO priorities with Service management
  • Oversight of supplier drop ship programs and execution
• Problem-Solving and Process Improvement: Identify service fulfillment work orders for material and assembly constraints, and lead cross-functional resolution.
• Service Fulfillment Management: Update and generate status reports for management on service execution performance and readiness metrics.
  • Ownership of Service execution status reporting within Ops
  • Management of Service KPIs and inventory performance

Requirements

• Application Proficiency: Google Workspace and/or MS Office Suite
• Education: A degree in supply chain management, operations management, industrial engineering, or business administration is preferred.
• Work History: 5-10 years of hands-on production planning, scheduling, and material control experience in a product-based manufacturing environment.
• Industry Certifications: Credentials like CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CSCP from ASCM, or a Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
