Job summary

TransChicago Truck Group, a full-service truck dealership, is seeking a General Manager for our Antioch location to oversee Service and Parts operations and drive financial health and growth. The role requires leadership across all departments, ensuring operational excellence and revenue growth.

The candidate will lead one shift with a second shift planned, work with Sales leadership to hit targets, and collaborate with the COO on forecasts and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Experience in a truck dealership environment - Sales, Parts or Service.
• Deep knowledge of all aspects of heavy/medium duty truck retailing.
• High energy and ability to lead, motivate, and train teams across all departments.
• Excellent oral and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead service and parts teams across one shift and prepare for a second shift.
• Develop and maintain standards to maximize fixed operations efficiencies.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership to ensure the sales team hits targets and follows policies.
• Coordinate with COO and other operations to forecast parts & service sales and performance.
• Support sales efforts of new and used truck departments by moving vehicles efficiently through the shop.
