Job summary

D2B Groups in Hartford, CT is seeking a Service Business Manager to serve as the administrative, financial, and safety backbone of the location. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, reporting to the General Manager.

You will own financial operations, including AR/AP, invoicing, expense tracking, and safety/compliance reporting. You will prepare recurring reports for local and corporate leadership and drive process improvements with a hands-on, outcomes-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business administration or back-office role.
• Hands-on ownership of AR and AP cycle, including aging review meetings.
• Experience invoicing and coordination with corporate finance or shared-services.
• Working knowledge of safety program administration—meeting facilitation and incident documentation.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort using an ERP or business management system.

Responsibilities

• Own financial operations and revenue cycle end to end.
• Administer expense reporting, track spend, and flag variances.
• Lead safety meetings, track safety metrics, and manage incident reporting.
• Own recurring operational reporting and cadence for local and corporate leadership.
• Support the General Manager with administrative and back-office process improvements.
