Job summary

Core Equipment Group in Farmingdale, NJ is seeking a Service Administrator to manage the flow of work from customer interactions through repair and invoicing in a hands-on, in-person role reporting to the Branch Service Manager. You will generate quotes for repairs, oversee the complete work order cycle, and drive productivity with technicians while upholding safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a service department environment preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guides and quotes for customer machine repairs.
• Manages the full work order cycle; invoicing from initiation to closing.
• Sells service labor and parts to keep technicians productive and budgets met.
• Collaborates with the service manager on process improvements.
• Schedules and assigns jobs to service staff based on skills.
• Reviews work orders for accuracy prior to customer billing.
• Ensures warranty processes are submitted on time and tracked.
• Maintains a clean, safe, organized work area.
