Job summary

SpartanNash in South Bend, IN is seeking a Meat Processor/Stocker to prepare and package meat products and maintain displays according to plan. You will work independently and with team members to meet guest experience and safety standards.

Responsibilities include labeling, rotating stock, coordinating with the Meat Manager on orders, and following PPE and cleaning guidelines in a retail store environment. No visa sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce meat products to Production Planner.
• Package and label Meat Products per program plan.
• Merchandise Meat Products per Flight plan/Merchandising Expectations.
• Stock Backroom with Meat Products – Rotating and Dating Cases/Buckets.
• Notify the Meat Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Follow PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines; maintain guest experience.
