Job summary

SpartanNash in Granger, Indiana is seeking a Meat Associate to prepare and stock meat products, label per program, and support the meat department to deliver a top guest experience.

You’ll work with team members across departments, follow safety and cleaning guidelines, and ensure accurate weights and measures while contributing to store profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write and interpret basic documents.
• Detail oriented with math skills for weights and measures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce meat products according to plan.
• Package, label, and merchandise meat products as required.
• Stock backroom meat products with rotation and dating.
• Communicate tasks and cleaning steps to associates.
• Follow PPE, safety and food safety guidelines.
