Job summary

Badger Body is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our shop and service department in Omaha. You will supervise daily operations, implement policies, coach technicians, and drive customer satisfaction while collaborating with sales for growth opportunities.

You will manage inventory, monitor KPIs, and ensure safety and policy compliance. Competitive salary plus health/dental/vision insurance and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Service Manager experience with a focus on service management or related roles.
• Proven leadership of a diverse technician team.
• Excellent customer service and issue resolution.
• Knowledge of truck equipment, body solutions, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency with computer systems and reporting.
• Strong organization, time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the service department, including scheduling and workflow.
• Develop and implement service policies and best practices for efficiency.
• Coach and evaluate technicians to ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and promptly resolve issues.
• Collaborate with the sales team to pursue new business opportunities.
• Manage service department inventory and parts stock levels.
• Track KPIs and drive improvements in department performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide regular performance updates to upper management.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
