Job summary

Orkin seeks a Service Manager to lead a high-performance service operation in Vermont, guiding a team to deliver top-notch pest control for homes and businesses. You will blend technical know-how with strong people skills to earn customer trust through proactive service and effective communication.

You'll recruit, train, and develop Orkin Pros, oversee field operations, and collaborate with the community while benefiting from award-winning training and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Sales experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license/certification (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and interact with our great clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead an entire service operation upon completion of paid training.
• Motivate the service team to consistently provide world-class service.
• Assist with recruiting top talent on the service team.
• Train and develop Orkin Pros through hands-on management.
• Lead training meetings.
• Oversee our Orkin Pro Ride-A-Long program.
• Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded through inspections, proposed course of action and delivery of outstanding customer service every time.
• Monitor scheduling, routing, and inventory to drive efficiencies and productivity.
