Jensen Tire & Auto in Omaha, NE is seeking a motivated Service Manager to lead day-to-day service operations, mentor technicians, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will oversee workflows across bays, supervise technicians and service advisors, manage customer communications, and help drive efficiency, safety compliance, and profitability for a locally owned auto care shop.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in automotive service management or related leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Valid driver's license required.
• ASE Service Consultant (C1) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Degree or training in Automotive Technology, Business Management, or related field a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily service operations and ensure efficient workflow across bays.
• Supervise technicians and service advisors for quality and productivity.
• Manage customer interactions, explain repair recommendations, estimates, warranties.
• Monitor sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Ensure compliance with MAP guidelines and safety/environmental regulations.
• Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Promote teamwork and a customer-first culture.

What You'll Do

• Oversee daily service operations and ensure efficient workflow across all bays.
• Supervise and support technicians and service advisors to maintain top-quality workmanship and productivity.
• Manage customer interactions, ensuring clear communication of repair recommendations, estimates, and warranties.
• Monitor performance metrics such as sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction, taking action when improvements are needed.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, MAP (Motorist Assurance Program) guidelines, and all safety and environmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
• Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a customer-first culture.

What We're Looking For
