Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in an automotive or RV service department preferred.
• Excellent communication and managerial skills required.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Ability to operate the department profitably within dealership guidelines.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations that affect daily operations.
• Ability to use a computer and other office equipment.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and withstand a range of physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises one or more employees in the service department.
• Responsible for maintaining all autos, golf carts, tractors, and other machinery owned by the company.
• Oversees inventory, ordering and delivery of supplies and equipment for the service department.
• Assists in disciplinary or promotional recommendations for service personnel.
• Ensures OSHA standards and company safety policies are followed.
• Motivates workers to achieve work goals and maintain high service levels.
• Provides courteous, efficient response to customers and team members.
• Maintains thorough knowledge of management company policies.

• This is a safety sensitive position
• Directly supervises one or more employees in the service department
• Responsible to maintain all autos, golf carts, tractors, and all other machinery owned by the company.
• Responsible for the inventory, ordering and delivery of all necessary supplies and equipment for the service department
• Assisting in the disciplinary or promotional recommendations required for all service personnel
• Responsible for insuring OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies are complied with at all times.
• Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
• Responsible for courteous, efficient response at all times.
• Responsible for thorough knowledge of management company policies

Qualifications

• Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
• License & Certifications:
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record is preferred
• Experience:
  • Minimum of two years of experience in an automotive or RV service department is preferred
• Abilities:
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Excellent communication and managerial skills
  • Ability to operate the department profitably within dealership guidelines
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations that affect the daily operations of the organization
  • Ability to use a computer and other office equipment
  • Ability to navigate occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts; high places; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • Ability to withstand moderate noise levels in the work environment
  • Ability to bend or sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
