Campers Inn RV in Milford, MA is seeking a Service and Parts Advisor to work with customers to schedule service, communicate needed repairs, and ensure correct parts and accessories are in stock.

Responsibilities

• Identify RV problems and communicate symptoms to customers.
• Assist Sales Staff in providing accessories.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records; explain provisions.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculate customer payments.
• Prepare repair orders and dispatch parts to technicians.
• Handle customer complaints and maintain high satisfaction standards.
• Periodically check progress of the vehicle during servicing and update customers.
• Take daily cycle counts and track all parts inventory.
• Receive all incoming parts.

Essential Job Functions

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

• This is a safety sensitive position
• Identifies RV problems and services by listening to customer’s description of symptoms
• Assist Sales Staff in providing accessories
• Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions
• Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles
• Prepares repair orders (RO) and dispatches incoming parts to technicians
• Handles customer complaints and maintains high customer satisfaction standards
• Periodically checks on the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contacts the customer as needed to keep them up to date with their RV’s status
• Takes daily cycle counts and tracks all parts inventory
• Receives all incoming parts

Qualifications

• Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Experience:
  • A minimum of one year’s RV service experience preferred
• Abilities:
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communications skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, as required is essential. Hours may include, evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable and strong work ethic
  • Commitment to superior customer service
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team
  • Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to use a computer and other office equipment
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Knowledge or ability to learn company systems applications, including Motility Systems2K, and other software applicable
  • Ability to safely handle solvents and chemicals
  • Ability to move RVs of various sizes
  • Ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
