Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a legendary Service Manager to oversee Front of House daily operations, manage all Front of House employees, and ensure Legendary Food and Legendary Service for guests.

You will drive sales, uphold service standards, train and develop the FOH team, and monitor liquor costs and safety compliance, while scheduling and guiding staff performance to deliver a top-tier guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing Front of House operations and staff.
• Strong leadership and customer-service orientation.
• Knowledge of liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines.
• Ability to recruit, train, coach and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction.
• Enforce employment policies and oversee cleanliness and guest safety.
• Provide Front of House training and coaching.
• Manage performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline.
• Manage liquor orders and control liquor costs.
• Enforce liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines.
• Develop key employees and hourly staff with daily feedback.
• Review applications, interview, and hire Front of House staff.
• Direct weekly work schedules and task assignments.
• Create a fun, safe environment with incentives for staff.

As a Service Manager Your Responsibilities Would Include

• Driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
• In conjunction with all management, enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness of restaurant and safety of guests at all times
• Providing or directing all Front of House training
• Managing performance of Front of House employees, including conducting performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline
• Managing liquor orders and controlling liquor costs
• Enforcing applicable liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
• Assisting with the development of all key employees, assistant managers, and hourly employees by providing daily feedback on performance during one-on-ones
• Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring or recommending the hiring of Front of House employees.
• Directing work for employees including setting hours and weekly schedules and assigning tasks before, during, and after open hours of the restaurant
• Creating a fun, safe environment by following our core values and operational goals, and implementing contests, theme nights, and creating incentives for the staff
• Understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures
