Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an experienced and results-driven Service Manager to lead the Service Division with operational oversight and strategic direction. The Manager is responsible for profitability, growth, customer satisfaction, and the division’s performance, working with field personnel and office staff to deliver excellence.

You will guide service operations, financial management, and personnel development while pursuing recurring revenue opportunities and new service offerings.

Qualifications

  • Five+ years in service/operations/project management within electrical industry.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management skills.
  • Proven leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for all Service Division personnel.
  • Set performance expectations, accountability measures, and development plans.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Identify growth opportunities, recurring revenue programs, and new services.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, RFPs, RFQs, and marketing materials.
  • Manage departmental revenue, gross profit, budgets, and overall financials.
  • Monitor expenses to achieve profitability goals.
  • Review invoices, timesheets, and project costs.
  • Oversee daily service operations, scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate manpower with other departments.

Job Summary

Loenbro is seeking an experienced and results-driven Service Manager to provide leadership, operational oversight, and strategic direction for the Service Division. The Service Manager is responsible for the overall profitability, growth, customer satisfaction, and performance of the department. This role leads service operations, business development initiatives, financial management, and personnel development while ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our customers. The Service Manager will work closely with field personnel, office staff, executive leadership, and customers to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, direction, and oversight for all Service Division personnel..
  • Establish performance expectations, accountability measures, and professional development plans.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, recurring revenue programs, and new service offerings.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, RFP responses, RFQs, company qualification packages, and marketing materials.
  • Manage departmental revenue, gross profit, budgets, and overall financial performance.
  • Monitor and control departmental expenses to ensure profitability goals are achieved.
  • Review and approve invoices, timesheets, work orders, purchase orders, and project costs.
  • Oversee daily service operations, scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate manpower requirements with construction, estimating, and other operational departments.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of service management, operations management, or project management experience within the electrical industry.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and profit-and-loss management.
  • Strong understanding of service operations, estimating, project management, and customer relationship management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management software platforms such as ServiceTitan.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred:
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interface effectively with customers, employees, and executive leadership.

Work Environment:
  • Outside most of the time.
  • Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures
  • Limited working surfaces
  • Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors
  • Exposure to areas with limited visibility
  • Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)
  • Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks
  • If driving is required, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.

This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
