Job summary

Pomp's Tire Service in North Dakota is seeking a Service Manager to oversee daily operations and coordinate with customers to schedule service needs. You will lead service staff, ensure workflow and training, manage inventory, and support sales while maintaining a clean, compliant shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose tire issues and recommend solutions.
• Handle incoming calls and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Delegate tasks to service staff to maintain workflow.
• Support inventory management to ensure stock levels.
• Assist in the shop to maintain production levels.
• Follow up on past-due accounts for timely payments.
• Ensure proper training and development of service staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

What You'll Do:

What You Need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass pre-employment driver's file
• Preferred: Experience in management and sales
• Strongly preferred: Previous experience in the tire industry
• Ability to read and verify work order details accurately
• Strong ability to maintain confidentiality of personal and business information
• Familiarity with MaddenCo software system is a plus
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external customers and co-workers
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly; occasionally lift, push, or move 100 pounds
