Job summary

Cogent People Inc. is seeking a Service Management Business Analyst to support a mission-critical large-scale system serving the Federal Government in the healthcare domain.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in business analysis, functional design, business process design, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Hybrid work is available for Maryland locals; no sponsorship provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in business and functional analysis.
• 2+ years of experience in functional design and business process design.
• Experience working with QA teams and test planning/execution.
• Experience operating in a SAFe Agile environment across multiple teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong collaboration across teams.
• Ability to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Remote/Hybrid if local to Maryland (MON & WED in the office)

Residency Requirement: Candidates must have lived in the U.S. for at least 3 of the past 5 years and be authorized to work in the U.S. (Citizen, Permanent Resident, or EAD).

• Proven ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in federal government programs, or regulated environments (CMS experience is preferred).
• Experience in client-facing position is highly desired.
