Job summary

Trimac Transportation is seeking a hands-on Service Advisor to lead frontline maintenance execution, vendor coordination, and compliance across our service centers. You will supervise service writers, coordinate with drivers, dispatch, and vendors, and ensure timely preventive maintenance and inspections.

Reporting to the Fleet Services Supervisor, you will drive documentation accuracy, improve workflows, and uphold safety and regulatory standards while supporting shop and washrack operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Business, Transportation, or related field is an asset.
• Minimum 3 years in a service writer, maintenance coordination, or admin supervisor role within transportation/mechanical services.
• Experience supervising staff and managing shop and washrack ops preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach service admins and writers to ensure compliance, productivity, and professional communication.
• Serve as primary contact for equipment and cleaning service inquiries from drivers, dispatch, and customers; provide status updates and service recommendations.
• Coordinate PM schedules and inspections to meet internal standards and regulatory requirements; manage follow-ups like retorques and overdue work orders.
