Hyundai Service Lube Technician

Entry-level Automotive Technicians (Oil Change Technicians) play a key role by efficiently performing routine maintenance tasks and accurately identifying the causes of breakdowns, implementing the most effective solutions for repairs.

Job Responsibilities(include but are not limited to):

• Perform general express technician services as needed
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle automotive systems including flushes, oil changes, etc.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs to service advisors and customers
• Learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to keep up with rapidly changing technology

Qualifications:

Automotive Technicians (Oil Change Technicians) are expected to possess experience and stay informed about the latest automotive technologies while demonstrating persistence in problem-solving. Several factors have been identified that can contribute to success in this role as an Automotive Technician:

• Adhere to the company’s uniform policy
• Auto repair experience preferred but not required
• Dealership service department experience preferred but not required
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Working knowledge of shop equipment
• Must provide own tools
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Good work ethic
• Must work well with others
• Must be flexible with schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
