Reports To: Asst. Service Manager & Above

SUMMARY

Verifies receipt ofservice vehiclesbrought to the dealership. Parks vehicles in theservice lot in an orderly manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Maintains service drive and keeps in orderly fashion.
• Cleans the entire service department as needed and or requested by Mgt.
• Periodically check bathrooms for any cleaning needs.
• Assist techs with any spills that may occur
• Be attentive to customer needs that may be waiting and in need of a answered question.
• Be prepared to drive shuttle van when asked and always being polite and courteous to our customers
• Work well and get along with all other employees-respect each other
• Records the description of damages and reports to the advisor in charge.
• Parksservice vehicles in assigned areas.
• Catalogs and stores keys.
• Services vehicles in storage to protect tires, battery, and finish against deterioration.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
