Job summary

Val Strough Cypress Coast Automotive Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver/Porter to transport customers to and from homes or offices while vehicles are serviced. You will help keep the service lot clean and orderly and perform routine shuttle duties with professionalism.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe driving record, keeping trip logs, assisting passengers in and out of vehicles, and coordinating with the service team on vehicle needs. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Drives customers to their homes or places of business and picks them up after their vehicle is repaired.
• Keeps a timely shuttle route.
• Assists passengers getting in and out of vehicles.
• Operates radio or similar device to communicate with dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
• Keeps a record of trips including names of passengers and destination or pick-up point.
• Notifies dispatcher or service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning and general maintenance.
• Perform courtesy car washes.
• Obtain miles and VIN numbers for the service team for vehicles before hanging hat tags, seat covers and floor mats.
• Run daily driving tasks such as bank errands, parts delivery, or general driving tasks on short notice throughout the day.
• Maintains a professional appearance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education And/or Experience
