Job summary

Qualifications

  • Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel 10-15%.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate travel schedules and logistics with managers, field engineers, site leads, and customers as required.
  • Ensure alignment and clear communication across teams regarding schedules and deliverables.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the accounting team for clarifications related to inventory files, discrepancies, and status updates.
  • Facilitate communication between operations, engineering, and finance teams to ensure transparency and accuracy.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all communications, updates, and contact points related to inventory activities.
  • Ensure proper documentation of processes, changes, and resolutions for audit and reference purposes.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Service Logistics Specialist to manage inventory accuracy, reconcile data across systems, and support cross-functional coordination. This role requires strong Excel expertise, experience working with technical teams to automate processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Inventory Management & Data Analysis
  • Maintain accurate inventory records across multiple systems and files
  • Perform data comparison, reconciliation, and validation across different datasets
  • Identify discrepancies and drive resolution with relevant stakeholders
  • Generate reports and provide insights on inventory trends and issues
Data Tools & Process Improvement
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query, macros) to map, compare, and analyze large datasets
  • Collaborate with software engineers or technical teams to streamline data comparison processes using SQL, scripts, or other programming tools
  • Support automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
Coordination & Scheduling
  • Coordinate travel schedules and logistics with managers, field engineers, site leads, and customers as required
  • Ensure alignment and clear communication across teams regarding schedules and deliverables
Cross-Functional Communication
  • Act as the main point of contact for the accounting team for clarifications related to inventory files, discrepancies, and status updates
  • Facilitate communication between operations, engineering, and finance teams to ensure transparency and accuracy
Documentation & Record Keeping
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all communications, updates, and contact points related to inventory activities
  • Ensure proper documentation of processes, changes, and resolutions for audit and reference purposes
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience from high-tech manufacturing industry preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, data analysis, and reconciliation)
  • Experience working with or alongside software engineers to streamline workflows using tools such as SQL, scripts, or other programming languages
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to travel 10-15% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with inventory management systems or ERP tools
  • Basic knowledge of database querying (SQL) or data automation tools
  • Prior experience in cross-functional coordination or operations support roles

Salary Range

$75,000 - $85,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
